300,000 Page Views!

Wow, just wow. I can't believe I managed to keep a blog going to 300,000 page views! I feel like I might live to see one million. The fact that this still happened when as I take a break this month from blogging on The Update just blows my mind. The last time we reached such a milestone was when we surpassed 200,000 page views on 5/24/13.  Thanks to all of our contributors and fans who made this possible.

First up, let us look at the top posts of all time (the list on the left is only for the week):

I claim the top spot, but Sean manages to grab the most spots, with me and Chris tying for second. Alright lets move on to the state of our social networking presence:

• We had 68 Google followers on 5/24/13, now we have 75 (Goal: 100 by 6/14, 75% complete).
• We had 245 Facebook fans on 5/24/13, now we have 345 (Goal: 600 by 6/14, 57% complete).
• We had 389 Twitter followers on 5/24/13, now we have 463 (Goal 600 by 6/14, 77% complete)
• We had 14 Networked Blogs followers on 5/24/13, now we have 17 (Goal: 30 by 6/14, 56% complete).
• We had 7 Reddit subscribers on 5/2413, now we have 12 (Goal: 25 by 6/14, 48% complete)

Thank you to all of our fans for sticking with us through our ups and downs, our promises and pitfalls...and any reinventions we might unveil in the near future. Please continue to follow us as I don't think I am going to leave The Update anytime soon.

Sometime last night, Alternate History Weekly Update surpassed 100,000 page views! The last time we reached such a milestone was when we surpassed 80,000 page views on 9/5/12.  You know what? No matter what happens today, no matter how bad my luck is, until the moment I lay my head on my pillow I can look at this and be happy. Thank you everyone.

Alright lets check out the state of our social networking presence:

• We had 52 Google followers on 9/5/12, now we have 58 (Goal: 100 by 6/13).
• We had 154 Facebook fans on  9/5/12, now we have 172 (Goal: 300 by 6/13).
• We had 62 members in our Facebook group on 9/5/12, now we have 67 (Goal: 150 by 6/13).
• We had 201 Twitter followers on 9/5/12, now we have 233 (Goal 300 by 6/13)
• We have 10 Networked Blogs followers on 9/5/12, now we have 12 (Goal: 15 by 6/13).

If anyone uses Networked Blogs, please follow us. It would be the cherry on today's sundae if we can put that goal to rest early. Sometime last night, Alternate History Weekly Update surpassed 80,000 page views! We managed to break this barrier less than two months after I announced our 60,000th page view.  I am sticking to waiting every 20,000th page view to write a "state of the blog" post, hope you all don't mind. No map, however, since I've not been good about updating it. Instead we are going straight to our social networking presence:

• We had 50 Google followers on 7/12/12, now we have 52 (Goal: 100 by 6/13).
• We had 143 Facebook fans on  7/12/12, now we have 154 (Goal: 300 by 6/13).
• We had 57 members in our Facebook group on 7/12/12, now we have 62 (Goal: 150 by 6/13).
• We had 143 Twitter followers on 7/12/12, now we have 201 (Goal 300 by 6/13)
• We have 7 Networked Blogs followers on 7/12/12, now we have 10 (Goal: 15 by 6/13).
