Breaking News: 50,000 Page Views!

Today I am proud to announce that in less than one year, Alternate History Weekly Update has managed to break 50,000 page views. This momentous accomplishment, which I have been hoping would happen before the blog's first birthday, happened earlier today.  I would like to thank our contributors, fans and the authors who write alternate history for helping us grow. The last time the blog reached such a milestone was on 4/26/12 when I announced the 40,000th page view. Let us see how the blog has progressed since then.

Now usually in these posts I include the world map of our readers, but I do not have access to it at the moment.  Instead we will go right into the review of our social networking presence:
  • We had 42 Google followers on 4/26/12, now we have 45 (Goal: 100 by 6/12).
  • We had 107 Facebook fans on  4/26/12, now we have 127 (Goal: 300 by 6/12).
  • We have 57 members of our Facebook group as of today.
  • We had 78 Twitter followers on 4/26/12, now we have 110.
Considering how fast this blog is growing, advertisers could profit from forming a partnership with Weekly Update.  Those interested should check out our Sponsors page for more details. If our readers like one of our advertisements I highly recommend that you check it out and help support Weekly Update.  Also feel free to check out our Amazon page to purchase a subscription for your Kindle (or Kindle app). All proceeds go to help fund our upcoming podcast and a possible move to Wordpress

If you have a review or an article about alternate history that you want to share with us, I encourage you to contact me at ahwupdate at gmail dot com.  Weekly Update would not have grown to become what it is today without the help of the contributors who routinely submit articles to be enjoyed by you, the reader.

Thank you once again for being a fan of Weekly Update and I hope that we can continue to provide top quality content for years to come.
